A Poem & A Painting: Friendship Ornament, Red
Dec 19 2016 ·0As I shared previously, I’ve been busy painting these small (4″x4″) ornament canvases for the Christmas season. In addition to the paintings I brought to La Petite Maison, I’ve been having a ball painting more ornaments to give to friends. In fact last night I brought this hexagonal ornament painting to a Yankee Swap ~ much to my delight it was one of the most popular gifts, “swapped” amongst several people. It’s always so much fun to gather with dear friends and I just love seeing people enjoy my work. It truly is a work of heart!

I love adding gold gilt to my paintings ~ it provides the perfect amount of glam and glitz. What could be better for the holiday season? Perhaps purchasing a petite ornament painting as a hostess gift 🙂 …
