A Poem & A Painting: Friendship Ornament, Red

As I shared previously, I’ve been busy painting these small (4″x4″) ornament canvases for the Christmas season. In addition to the paintings I brought to La Petite Maison, I’ve been having a ball painting more ornaments to give to friends. In fact last night I brought this hexagonal ornament painting to a Yankee Swap ~ much to my delight it was one of the most popular gifts, “swapped” amongst several people. It’s always so much fun to gather with dear friends and I just love seeing people enjoy my work. It truly is a work of heart!

2015 is sure to be an exciting year both professionally and personally for me. With new projects and travel, new features and blog content and my daughter’s upcoming wedding (just over 4 months away ~ eeeeek!), there will be much to record and celebrate. I hope you’ll follow along for the ride!

A Poem & A Painting: Bright Red, Delicious Lobsters

This week’s painting just says “Summer” to me…I love the taste of Lobster and have been dreaming about my first one of the season during the long, cold winter in New England. Summer is almost here south of Boston, it may be teasing us little by little but I am confident it is on it’s way!
