Historic Hingham Home: Family Room Update
Sep 14 2016 ·2Today I am excited to share with you a recent project I completed for a wonderful family. The home is an Antique Colonial, in the heart of historic downtown Hingham. The home was extensively renovated in 2004 so all of the amenities and framework for a functional family space were in place. However my client wanted the interior design of the home to be more polished, cohesive, and functional for their young and active family. I actually was referred to this client by Winston Flowers in downtown Hingham and it turned out to be a great match!

Posh Presentation Panel: Cape Cod Global Living Room
Mar 31 2015 ·0It has been quite a while since I last posted a Presentation Board and I do love creating them for my clients. One of my latest projects, on Cape Cod, is for a career woman who has traveled the world. I am enjoying our collaboration because she has a colorful, artistic, and global style that is translating into a comfortable but outstanding design.
Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams Family Room project
Nov 05 2014 ·0“…We love to laugh…
We believe in we. Not I.
We believe children enrich our lives.
We believe in enriching the lives of our children…”
~excerpt from the MGBW creed
My love and admiration of Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, as men and as a company, is well documented. Earlier this year I attended one of their 25th Anniversary celebrations (read about that here). When they opened a flagship store in Boston in 2012 I was over the moon (read about that here). You can imagine how thrilled I was when my friend and client Tina contacted me to help her refresh her Family Room design using several pieces from Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams.

Apr 09 2014 ·1This week while I’m in Italy for BlogTour Milan (#BlogTourMilan and@pamelacopeman on Twitter), I’m reposting some of my favorite and most popular posts from the past. I hope you enjoy!
Continuing on with our tour of this lovely seaside home, today’s first stop is the Office. Located off the main Foyer, the Office is tucked behind French doors and is just far enough removed from the rest of the house to offer a quiet space to attend to business responsibilities.
This is the bland space that I viewed the first time I toured the house, rather sterile and not very inviting…
Diary of an Interior Designer: Cape Cod Seaside Home, The Living Room
May 28 2013 ·0The Living Room is always the center of the home and a gathering place for family. It is a place to come together for celebrations, conversation and the making of memories. In this house the Living Room is literally and figuratively in the center of the home. The prime location means the space boasts breathtaking, panoramic views of the waterfront. This Living Room is also replete with character-building architectural details ~ which means we had another great starting point for our interior design. Come on in…
