Feb 03 2017 ·0BlogTour KBIS sponsor Wilsonart is a world leader in engineered surfaces. Whether you’re looking for laminate, quartz, or anything in between, Wilsonart has a beautiful, durable surface to fit your needs. BlogTour KBIS 2017: Luxury and Innovation from Thermador
Jan 24 2017 ·2Just last year, luxury appliance brand Thermador celebrated their 100 year anniversary(!), a true testament to their quality products and commitment to innovation. After seeing their latest offerings in person with BlogTour at the KBIS (Kitchen & Bath Industry Show) 2017 show in Orlando, I can tell you that Thermador is not resting on their laurels. They have introduced several new exceptional products this year at the KBIS 2017 show!
A Visit to the Offices of Atlanta Interior Designers Kandrac & Kole
Apr 02 2016 ·0I’ve always loved being an Interior Designer. Little did I know when I started Posh Palettes, my Interior Design blog, all of the wonderful opportunities that would present themselves. One (well actually, two) of the most exciting results of writing this blog has been being invited to attend BlogTour Modenus ~ first to Italy, then to Las Vegas. Veronika and her team organized amazing trips and we took in endless inspiration from both our travels and exhibits and events featuring top notch vendors in the design field. However I think the greatest gift I took away from BlogTour was the friendships that were forged walking the ancient streets of Venice & Milan. Two of my best (and most talented) friends from BlogTour are Joann Kandrac and Kelly Kole of Kandrac & Kole Interiors.
Under the Tuscan Sun: Our Villa
Sep 30 2015 ·0If you follow me on Instagram (you should!), you may already know that last week I had the opportunity to travel to Tuscany along with 11 other women to celebrate a dear friend’s birthday (yes, one of the big ones, shhhh!) No, it wasn’t Cheaper by the Dozen, but it was a lot more fun!
We rented a villa just outside of Sienna. The cost was surprisingly reasonable when split 12 ways. Even better than the affordability factor was the villa itself. It was a breathtaking home with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms ~ must when a dozen women are sharing a space for a week. The setting was right out of the movies. The villa design was light and airy and grounded by a large harvest table with a marble top in the Kitchen which we gathered around for late night conversation and a sip (or 2…) of Limoncello.
Come take a peek of a week that has etched memories on my heart…
Caught My Eye: Gorgeous Green
Mar 20 2015 ·0For this week’s Caught My Eye feature I’m mixing it up and trying something new. I’ve picked a theme and finds that encompass five categories: Tile, Texture, Fashion, Art, and Wallpaper. It’s a bit of a hybrid between my regular Caught My Eye posts and an older blog feature, Pamela’s Posh Picks. With St. Patrick’s Day and the first day of Spring this week, Gorgeous Green is a perfect theme. Come take a peek at what Caught My Eye…

A Visit to the Fortuny Museum, Venice, Italy
Apr 23 2014 ·0If you follow me on Twitter and Instagram, you know that as a prelude to our visit to Milan, our BlogTour group visited the beautiful and romantic city of Venice. One of my favorite surprises from BlogTourMilan was the discovery and tour of the Fortuny Museum in Venice with Christina Gregorin of Slow Venice Tours.

Ralph Lauren at Greenwich, CT
Nov 19 2013 ·0Last week on my way to NYC, I visited Greenwich, CT. The highlight was a stroll down “The Avenue” in downtown Greenwich, a collection of upscale shops, local boutiques and restaurants, and flagships of national stores. The shop windows were dressed for the season and beckoning me to enter…how could I resist??
Come tour the Ralph Lauren flagship store with me…
The Look at Boston Design Center
Oct 09 2013 ·3The annual The Look event was held last week at the Boston Design Center. This is one of the most exciting days of the entire year at the BDC where new trends and products in interior design and color are highlighted in a day full of special events and speakers. The vibe is very similar to the Fashion Week that Boston just celebrated.
To start the day off right, I was invited to Club 342 for Bubbles and Breakfast. It was a true feast that made the 1-1/2 hour commute in traffic worth every minute! What better way to begin the day than with a mimosa~ and these yummy choices…
Posh Pinterest Board of the Week: domino
Oct 07 2013 ·1In honor of the re-launch of much beloved domino magazine as not only a print resource but also a new model that allows readers to shop directly from domino features, this week’s Posh Pinterest board(s) come from… domino! While domino’s Pinterest boards are still in the midst of being curated, I did find quite a few pins that I liked.

Sep 16 2013 ·1This week’s featured Posh Pinterest board highlights not just one Pinterest board, but pins from several different boards curated by the staff at Traditional Home magazine. Last week I had the pleasure of attending a presentation given by Krissa Rossbund, Traditional Home’s Senior Style Editor at the Boston Design Center ~ more on that in the coming days! In the meantime, here are a few of my favorite Pinterest boards and pins from Traditional Home…
Pamela’s Posh Picks: Jason Wu at New York Fashion Week
Sep 13 2013 ·0Last fall I was thrilled to attend my very first (and hopefully not my last!) show at New York Fashion Week as part of the Blogger 19, courtesy of Brizo. If you’ve been following my blog you know that not only did we attend the runway show of designer Jason Wu, we also met & mingled with him at a post-show party. I was in heaven! Jason Wu is an incredible designer and such an interesting, creative person. I know because of my experience last year, I will always hold Jason Wu and his show at NYFW close to my heart. With another Fall Fashion Week in the books, I wanted to highlight my Posh Picks from the Jason Wu Spring 2014 Runway Show.
South Shore Oceanside Penthouse: A Trip to the Boston Design Center
Aug 28 2013 ·2It’s time for an update to the Penthouse interior design project I introduced you to last month! To date, I’ve shared the space in its ‘Before’ state, you can refresh your memory here. The next step in this Penthouse interior design project was to visit the Boston Design Center with my client. In preparation for this trip, I always pre-shop the showrooms ahead of time. This allows me to select the best furniture and accessory choices for our design, set up appointments with my representatives and have some fabric samples ready for my presentation. This way the client can more easily envision the finished space and our visit is focused and efficient.
South Shore Interior Designer: Oceanside Penthouse Project
Jul 30 2013 ·1I’m so excited to be able to share with you a new interior design project that I am working on. The setting is a stunning oceanside penthouse space with incredible views. My client is a gentleman whose taste is both masculine and sophisticated. He works in the hotel industry and has owned quite a few homes which has certainly influenced his sense of style. It has been a delight to collaborate with him.
While the space is gorgeous, it is not without challenges. For example, vaulted ceilings and large expanses of windows are beautiful, but how to effectively incorporate them into a posh interior design? Today I’m sharing the preview (before) photos of the space and you’ll see what I mean…
