Clever Storage designs and manufactures high-end, innovative organization and storage pieces for the entire home. As it turned out, Clever Storage wasn’t new to me at all. I was actually quite familiar with their products but didn’t realize it because they’d been wearing a disguise…

A Visit to the Fortuny Museum, Venice, Italy

One of my favorite surprises from BlogTourMilan was the discovery and tour of the Fortuny Museum in Venice with Christina Gregorin of Slow Venice Tours.

Gessi Concept Lab in Milan
Apr 16 2014 ·0The moment I stepped foot into the Gessi Concept Lab in the center of the Fashion District in Milano I felt I was in for the experience of BlogTourMilan. Gessi made a purposeful choice to locate their showroom in this area of the city. Gessi has positioned itself as fashion forward and elegant ~ a perfect fit for the Fashion District!
The Gessi Concept Lab is located in a former movie theater. The Concept Lab is actually subterranean, the excavation and renovation of the space took over two years to complete. Replete with “cascades and pools and astonishing underground vertical gardens”, the Gessi Concept Lab gives the feeling of being in a secret garden of sorts.

I am in sensory overload in the best possible way as I comb through my 1000+ photographs and relive and relish every moment of this incredible adventure. What is a BlogTour? In a nutshell, “BlogTour’s select interior design bloggers travel to international design events to bring you the latest interior design trends.” Our group will be attending Salon Del Mobile, Milan’s annual design week, along with a short trip to Venice. I can’t wait to share this adventure with you!
