Brizo: Faucets as Art!
Jul 26 2013 ·0These two paintings were created a year ago after my first experience with Brizo and the Blogger19 in the Fall 2012. Since then I have met with several of the women at other conferences and we have become generous colleagues and true friends.
Brizo, the Blogger19 and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Jul 23 2013 ·1Last week, I was part of a select group of interior designers that had the honor of going to Memphis, TN as a guest of Brizo. As most of you know, Brizo is a luxury line of artful and highly functional faucets and accessories for the kitchen and bath.
There are so many reasons I’ve fallen head over heels in love with Brizo and their products lines, but mostly it is because of the people and their company philosophy. Brizo is truly “a brand that dreams” and believes “the power of dreams is without limits”.

Posh Pinterest Board of the Week: All About MY Art
Jun 03 2013 ·1While this week’s board is entitled ‘All About My Art‘, it doesn’t actually feature my art but rather that of my dear friend, artist Sandy Welch. Sandy has been involved with color since we first met selling lipsticks and eyeshadows with Clinique. Her best use of color is evident when she paints. Her brave use of technicolor shades of pinks, oranges, and yellows are my favorite ~ so vibrant and juicy you can almost taste them!
Come take a peek at a few of my favorite pins (paintings) by artist Sandy Welch…
Diary of an Interior Designer: Cape Cod Seaside Home, The Living Room
May 28 2013 ·0The Living Room is always the center of the home and a gathering place for family. It is a place to come together for celebrations, conversation and the making of memories. In this house the Living Room is literally and figuratively in the center of the home. The prime location means the space boasts breathtaking, panoramic views of the waterfront. This Living Room is also replete with character-building architectural details ~ which means we had another great starting point for our interior design. Come on in…
Pamela’s Posh Picks: Serena & Lily Sheets
May 16 2013 ·0This week’s Posh Picks features luxurious sheet pairings from Serena & Lily. I just adore Serena & Lily sheets ~ not only are they uber soft and comfortable, but the quality is terrific and the packaging (a wonderful drawstring bag that I will re-use for packing shoes when I travel) is adorable! While you can of course select your favorite pattern and purchase a complete sheet set, I prefer to mix and match patterns and colors for a more customized, colorful look.
Take a look at this week’s Posh Picks: chic Serena & Lily sheet pairings!…
Diary of an Interior Designer: Cape Cod Seaside Home, Office, Foyer & Family Room
May 08 2013 ·1Continuing on with our tour of this lovely seaside home, today’s first stop is the Office. Located off the main Foyer, the Office is tucked behind French doors and is just far enough removed from the rest of the house to offer a quiet space to attend to business responsibilities.
This is the bland space that I viewed the first time I toured the house, rather sterile and not very inviting…
Diary of an Interior Designer: Cape Cod Seaside Home, The Guest Bedrooms
May 07 2013 ·1“The ornaments of your house will be the guests who frequent it”
~ Author Unknown
When we last checked in at our Cape Cod seaside home, I shared with you the transformation of the Children’s Suite. Well, this luxurious home boasts three additional guest rooms in the main house. Even though each bedroom has water views, we opted for a more sophisticated design that compliments the blue of the sky and the water with a reference to sand and seashells. Come take a peek…

Diary of an Interior Designer: Cape Cod Seaside Home, The Children’s Suite
May 01 2013 ·0At nearly every Designer’s Show House I’ve attended, the Children’s Room is always among the favorite spaces. Designing children’s spaces presents the opportunity to incorporate whimsical touches, plenty of color and to think like a child again ~ how grand! The Children’s Suite in the Cape Cod retreat seems to me the perfect place to start our tour…

Pamela’s Posh Picks: Garden Statuary
Apr 01 2013 ·1With this weekend’s Spring-like temperatures (finally!) and sunshine, my thoughts naturally turned to enjoying the outdoors. One of the best things about the Spring season of renewal and growth is planning and planting my terrace garden. Never one to let a decorating opportunity pass by, this year I’m thinking of adding some art to my garden. A few pieces I’m considering are this week’s Posh Picks: Garden Statuary!…
Pamela’s Posh Picks: Metal Sculpture
Mar 21 2013 ·2With all of the imaginative and varied use of metal as a design element at our resort in Punta Cana, I thought I’d continue with that theme for this week’s Posh Picks!…
Chicago: Neighborhoods, Museums & All That Jazz
Oct 17 2012 ·0Another weekend, another weekend trip for me. This trip however was extra special as I traveled to Chicago to visit my son Fred. He just relocated there and he couldn’t wait to show off his new city to me ~ and I couldn’t wait to see it!
Charleston, Sweet Charleston
Oct 03 2012 ·0This past weekend I paid my first visit to Charleston, South Carolina, a true jewel of the South. My dear friend Tina and I attended Parents Weekend at the College of Charleston where her daughter, Olivia, attends the Honors College. When Tina’s husband Rich had to cancel at the last minute due to work obligations, I was more than happy to step in!
