Pamela’s Posh Picks: Girls Just Wanna Paint
Feb 01 2013 · 0 comments · Meanderings, My Paintings, Posh Picks ·0
How else could I wrap up Art Week on Posh Palettes other to feature several local artists and friends? I am so blessed to be a part of a wonderful painting group, Girls Just Wanna Paint. What exactly is GJWP? From our blog…
“This blog started in July of 2009, by 11 local woman artists who challenge themselves each month with an object or idea that they incorporate into a painting. We post the paintings on the first day of every each month, and invite your comments. We meet the first week of every month to view each others’ work in person, enjoy some great food and wine, and decide what the next month’s subject will be. We are all serious artists who also have a lot of fun.”
If you have a chance to be involved with a group of creative women, I highly recommend that you do it!
My Posh Picks this week are some of my favorite paintings from the past several months of challenges. It was hard to pick just a few, all the work is so inspiring!
