Fearless Color, Part 2: The Family Room

The Color Party Continues! Last week I shared the Living Room space in this fabulous home. Today I present the Family Room. The Family Room is adjacent to, but separate from, the Living Room and open to the Kitchen (which I’ll be showing you soon). All the spaces co-exist nicely but each one has it’s own personality. Come take a peek…
I just love this room view of this welcoming and comfortable space!
This window seat is located just behind the sectional. It is well lit and a perfect spot to gaze out the window at the beautiful perennial garden.
As you can see my client is not frightened of color or mixing patterns and her choices always result in a winning combination.
Even the drawer pull is a colorful decorative accessory!
Speaking of details, isn’t the fireplace a conversation piece? When have you ever seen a peachy-pink pebble fireplace in an antique New England home…it is the BEST!
A zoomed out view with the fireplace…I love the way this chair turned out. Always consider a pop of color when you are re-upholstering a piece ~ it adds pizazz.
This one-of-a-kind secretary from a former home fits into this corner on an angle perfectly. It adds a patina and is functional!
The window creations are layered with woven wood roman shades and a decorative valance with coral jewels.
We carried the indoor-outdoor animal print fabric throughout the space. It’s a great choice for the ottoman that also doubles as additional seating.
No Pamela Copeman Design Group (PCDG) design is complete without the signature touch of custom pillows! The patterns, stripes, and colors compliment the sofa and add interest to the sectional.
Well-appointed decorative pieces are critical to any design and add a lovely finishing touch…
I love how this space turned out ~ it is infused with the personality of my client along with loads of color and function!
Stay tuned for Part 3 of this series, The Kitchen!
xo,
Pamela
