The unofficial kickoff to summer is finally here! I’m looking forward to spending time with my family in Maine ~ I hope you have fun plans as well. Here are a few things that caught my eye this week to get this holiday weekend link party started!
- These photos taken by ‘Daredevils over Dubai‘ make me so uncomfortable… but they are so fascinating. Can you imagine??
- On a much less vertigo-inducing note, I visited the Kips Bay Show House in NYC this week. I was amazed by all the ways designer Matthew Quinn incorporated inspiration from the adjacent St. Patrick’s Cathedral into his kitchen design.
- One of my favorite spaces at Kips Bay was the ‘Hollyhock Lounge‘ designed by the talented Young Huh of Young Huh Interiors.
- Speaking of New York City, Lisa Smith, aka The Decor Girl, has a fab recap of the 2014 ICFF show on her blog. What does ICFF stand for? International Contemporary Furniture Fair, of course!
- What would Memorial Day weekend be without at least one barbecue? My favorite cookout nosh? Hotdogs! So many of these hot dog recipes look delicious!
