Mar 15 2013 ·0As I was packing for my quick tropical getaway, my list was fairly simple: comfortable yet stylish clothes for travel, a few ensembles for going out in the evening, and of course, beachwear. Along with a bathing suit, one of my favorite pieces to wear when going to the beach is the ever-versatile sarong. Sarongs, or pareos, come in an endless variety of motifs and styles, can be worn in a number of ways with varying amounts of “coverage”, and add elegance and grace to the beach.

Dec 07 2012 ·0This is one of my favorite times of the year to go to my mailbox. Along with the usual crush of junk mail and catalogs, December is when the holiday cards arrive! While it seems fewer and fewer people send out paper cards, I for one love receiving them. It’s especially exciting to open up a holiday card and be greeted with the smiling faces of family and friends. I just love to see how families are growing and changing!
