BlogTour KBIS 2017: Wow from Wilsonart

This is the second time I have explored a Wilsonart exhibit at the KBIS Show. Once again I was amazed by their latest engineered surfaces which always feature a “Wow” element.

With the help of eco-lifestyle expert, designer, and spokesperson Danny Seo, Wilsonart introduced a brand new Ultra Matte Laminate Finish (matte surfaces are very much in fashion this year), along with 8 new quartz patterns, and 24 new patterns to their vast existing collection.

Wilsonart provides “alternate surface options in design, performance and price for their customers” ~ and what and incredible variety!

Love this beautiful speckled Quartz surface…

I personally was taken by the Wilsonart VDL Artfully Repurposed Woods, just imagine the possibilities!

Yes, that is laminate “wood” on the walls and cabinetry in this heavenly Laundry Room (complete with doggie washing station)

As you know by now, I am drawn to any element that has a bit of sparkle and glam and the Wilsonart Decorative Metals definitely fit the bill.   Just look at the heavily textured patterns and vibrant colors!

And polka dots are just happy!

I love how they used the matte bronze pieces of Wilsonart Decorative Metals in the backsplash of this kitchen vignette.

Note how the designers used the Seamless Decorative Edge Countertop to create a waterfall effect. Think how easy this wrap-around counter would be to clean. Wouldn’t the Decorative Metals line be excellent for creating a unique herringbone pattern backsplash ~ just imagine.  So many ideas!  You can test out a few ideas of your own with Wilsonart’s Virtual Design Library ~ so fun.

What a treat to see all of the new Wilsonart products in person at KBIS.  And  what a treat to mingle with  Wilsonart spokesperson Danny Seo who  stopped by the Design Milk X Modenus Social Lounge to visit with all the DesignHounds and speak to us about ‘Designing for the Environment and why it matters more than ever’.

This is my final wrap-up post from this year’s BlogTour KBIS.  Just like the show itself, it’s been a whirlwind. I hope my posts have helped to educate and inspire you with some of the latest and greatest Kitchen & Bath products available.  I am truly honored to have been selected to attend this year’s event with the DesignHounds and Modenus.  Veronika & Florence of Modenus are amazing hosts along with being so helpful, knowledgeable, and fun to be around!  I can’t wait for the next BlogTour trip!
