Continuing on with our tour of the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island, I have more pictures of more beautiful spaces to share!
First stop, this “tented” atrium area. I love the connection with the outdoor green space here along with the zippy Jonathan Adler fabric on the pillows.
Original designer Anthony Baratta has re-invented the Great Room years later, this view is from the second floor balcony:
Yes, it is filled with life size doll houses!
Hello friends! Here are Tina Ramchandani, Beth Greene and Sarah Sarna:
Graphic, crisp bedroom by Young Huh Interiors, so bright and light, so inviting:
Love the custom radiator cover that mimics the lines on the wall ~ this chair is great too
My dear friend, interior designer Jennifer Mehditash did an outstanding and creative job with her bedroom. The beds were surrounded with a hand painted headboard:
The ceiling was eye catching with the glossy finish and interesting pattern that drew you right into the room
I adore all things Barbara Barry, especially this table used as a desk
The Bath area Jennifer designed is stunning, love the tile choice:
If they were giving out an MVD award (Most Valuable Designer, of course!), I’m told it would most certainly go to Danielle Colding. Danielle designed 7 spaces, including bathrooms, laundry rooms and even a telephone room ~most of them last minute! Her appearance on HGTV’s Design Star means she has plenty of experience working under a tight deadline. God Bless her ~ and she was a sweetheart!
Danielle designed this laundry room. I love this space so much I might even throw in a wash…
So cheerful!
This is the beautiful Danielle Colding, sitting in a little cubby space she designed where one can have a private conversation:
This is the reason everyone worked so tirelessly on this house: the families. This is a mother and daughter who stopped by after a treatment to say thank you:
Of course I’m always noticing stand-outs from two of my favorite categories: art and lighting.
What would a home be without Art? Love this contemporary painting …don’t you?
As I was leaving, the electricians had just finished installing these amazing chandeliers:
This chair is at the front door and I just couldn’t resist a pose~
This poem was hanging in the nursery. I think it is the perfect ending for a most perfect renovation of the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island…
Congratulations to everyone who made it happen…and count me in for Phase II. Please!
xo,
Pamela
