I am continually fascinated by birds, but most especially in the winter. I became a “bird watcher” with my stepdad Marston. He always fed and tended to the feathered friends who visited our yard in the cold weather.
This week’s painting was inspired by those long ago days, watching Marston and the tender care he showed the birds of winter…
