This week’s painting was created for the latest Girls Just Wanna Paint Challenge ~ Magical. I just adore the glow of Christmas lights, especially in this season where darkness comes so early. I was trying to capture this light in my painting by using gold and silver leaf.

When you see lovely lights
Of greens, reds, and whites

When snow falls down from the skies
Soft and thick it lies
