Caught My Eye, Nantucket Edition

This week I was fortunate enough to spend a few days on Nantucket with some of my oldest and dearest friends. Even in the “off-season”, there is so much to see and do on the island! Here are a few things that Caught My Eye during my latest trip to Nantucket…
- We spent an exquisite evening at 29 Fair, a quintessential Nantucket restaurant. Chef Nimesh is endearing and his food is amazing!
- I picked up a copy of Only Nantucket magazine and am so glad I did. The publication is more like a coffee table book than a magazine and is full of gorgeous photography!
- Hunt Slonem bunnies are popping up everywhere now that Lee Jofa is featuring these icons (and other HS artwork) on everything from wall coverings to fabrics. What a treat to view the Hunt Slonem exhibit at Quidley & Co. gallery. “Honey bunny” is one of my oft spoken phrases so the subject matter was perfect!
- More whimsical goodness from Nantucket resident artist Jeanne van Etten ~ her jolly holiday ornaments make me smile and make a great souvenir!
- Leggiadro features stylish and tailored women’s clothing with a sophisticated casual elegance. The shop on Centre Street features Leggiadro’s signature style of rich hues and unique prints ~ and my dear friend Sandy B. who works there! I especially loved the sweaters and outerwear. Hmmm, employee discount perhaps…;-)
Have a wonderful weekend, hope it’s a long one for you!

Pamela
