Do you still have last minute shopping to do? Today’s Posh Gift Guide features picks that will not only honor the recipient, but also help others. Let’s take a peek…
Give the gift of an animal to help a family lift itself out of poverty ~ Heifer has options ranging from chicks to rabbits to honeybees to water buffalo!
This Boston based organization’s mission is “to bridge economic, racial and social divisions by providing under-resourced youth with the keys to self-sufficiency through paid employment in the arts.” You can donate directly or purchase artwork to support wonderful young artists.
GLOW (Girls Leadership Organized Women) “fosters opportunities for women of all ages to become empowered community leaders and active world citizens.” This organization is near and dear to my heart not only because of the the amazing work they do, but also because my daughter Emily is a member of the Leadership Team. You can donate directly or better yet, purchase a ticket to their annual Ignite the Nite gala being held in February ~ a fun night out and a great gift!
west elm has partnered with a variety of charitable organizations (including St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and the ASPCA) to create these mugs based on the paintings of Rachel Kozlowski. 50% of the purchase price from the sale of each mug is donated to the organization represented.
The Globe Santa has been helping the children of Boston since 1956. Donations are used to deliver holiday gifts to local children in need and 100% of all donations go toward the purchase and delivery of these gifts. Such a heartwarming holiday tradition!
Charitable giving is such a wonderful way to make the Holidays even more meaningful ~ spread the love!

Pamela
