342 Designer’s Club at the Boston Design Center

Last fall a brand new space was unveiled at the Boston Design Center: the 342 Designer’s Club. 342 (so named for the suite number it occupies) is a private, dedicated space for quiet work, client meetings, conferences and small events.
The club has two conference rooms available and perhaps best of all, is wi-fi enabled ~yipee!
Yesterday was the first time I had occasion to use the 342 Club for work and it was wonderful. The conference room was perfect for our meeting, plenty of seating and space for laptops and other gear.
342 was masterfully designed by Marcus Gleysteen Architects, built by Sanford Custom Builders and several Boston area tradesmen and furnished and accessorized through generous donations from several BDC showrooms.
Here are a few pictures of some of the 3500 square feet of 342…
This is a great place to take a break and re-group after walking the long, visually stimulating halls of the BDC.
Individual work stations where you can plug in and catch up on email and social media:
The kitchen space with its huge windows is a perfect spot to enjoy a morning or afternoon java jolt.
Loving this is accent wall. The combination of black & white damask glass tiles and the colored lighting makes for a total WOW moment.
A job well done creating a beautiful, comfortable, and most useful space!
xo,
Pamela
