Pamela’s Posh Picks: BeeLine Home by Bunny Williams
Oct 26 2012 · 0 comments · My Paintings, Posh Picks ·0
This week I had the privilege of hearing the one and only Bunny Williams speak at the Boston Design Center. Her new furniture and accessories line, BeeLine Home, is being stocked by the Lee Jofa showroom at BDC. In the words of Showroom Manager Bill Elinoff, Bunny Williams is “iconic, energetic, and inspirational”. Her new line is certainly reflective of these qualities!
I had the chance to view several of the pieces in the BeeLine Home collection in person which is one of the reasons why they make for a fab Posh Picks feature. Additionally, many of these items are in stock at Lee-Jofa and ready to ship ~ fabulous!
Here are my Posh Picks for this week…

This tall, skinny bottle lamp has a hand painted charcoal colored swirl on an off-white ground and is finished with a gold gilt lipped wedding band base and matte brass double socket cluster.
It’s quite possible this lamp was my favorite item from the BeeLine Home collection. The scale and proportions are perfect, as is the price point. Chic, stylish, and animal print ~ one of my favorite combinations!
If I designed any table in Collection I that I would call eye-catching, this wins the prize. It boasts an octagonal pedestal base of hand applied reeded wood, finished in a silver leaf patina. Honed travertine cuts a perfect figure atop this piece.
I love the unique shape of this table and the silver finish appeals to my glam side! Absolutely swoon-worthy!
One of our signature pieces, this graceful chair looks stunning at a desk or a dining table. The oval frame and splayed legs have historical references but are totally modern. Mix light and dark woods for a total Eclipse!
I adore this chair! Perfect for desk and dining! Wonderful graceful lines make this chair both versatile and appealing. The neutral fabric is lovely but these chairs can also be covered in a customer chosen fabric. I love the idea of using a contrasting, perhaps slightly frivolous fabric, on the back of the chair. The curve of the chair back would make a wonderful frame to highlight a favorite textile or even a monogram!
A high-back dining or side chair good for any starlet! Its tight back and seat upholstered in neutral linen sit on an ebony stained base with routed detailing.
A wonderful chair with sleek yet whimsical lines. Perfect for primping, this chair would be right at home in front of a vanity or make-up table.
This hand carved five-tier étagère with beautiful hand painted ebony finish has a red lacquer interior that pops and intricate gold leaf detailing.
Bunny shared that she is influenced by history and period pieces when designing. This beautiful étagère certainly echoes those influences. I think this would look beautiful in a corner.
Should you like to view the BeeLine Home collection in person, contact me to set up an appointment. I’d love to be your escort into the beautiful Lee Jofa showroom!
Finally, this week’s petite interior oil painting entitled, ‘Yellow Sofa’:
Have a wonderful weekend and stay safe from Sandy!
xo,
Pamela
