Pamela’s Posh Picks: Chihuly at the Atlanta Botanical Garden
Feb 28 2014 ·0Just two more days until I jet off to Atlanta for this year’s Design Bloggers Conference! I am so looking forward to seeing my blogging buddies, hearing great speakers and seeing a little slice of Atlanta. While I probably won’t be visiting the Atlanta Botanical Garden on this trip, it’s definitely on my list for a future trip. In fact, I’d love to go if they ever bring back the Chihuly in the Garden exhibit that originally ran in 2004. During this exhibit, the majesty of Dale Chihuly’s glass was showcased with the inspiring plant collections of the Garden. Sounds amazing! Styling Tables for a Valentine’s Day Dinner Party
Feb 11 2014 ·0I got the best phone call the other day from a my favorite client of mine, G. The task? Styling two tables for a Valentine Dinner party ~ YES! Have I mentioned that Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday of the year??…
My next step was to gather information about the fete: number of guests (18!), serving style (buffet) and location of the dining tables (dining room & kitchen). I was already very familiar with the house because G and I have collaborated on several projects so I knew the color palette and her style.

Seriously, can you imagine that there is a day set aside for Love? I just adore the idea that on this day anyone has the opportunity to tell a friend, a child (small or large), a lover, a husband or wife, or a special someone that you care for them, that you couldn’t live without them, and that your life is better because they are in it.

Chocolate Lover’s Class at Ralph’s Wine & Spirits
Feb 06 2014 ·0Ralph’s Wines and Spirits is a gem of a local business offering libations, classes and tastings at their Hingham shop. At Ralph’s, their guiding principle is that “wine, beer and cocktails are all better enjoyed when accompanied by great food!” Their goal at Ralph’s “isn’t just to sell you our product, it is to educate you on it, taste you on it and hopefully introduce your palate to nothing it has ever experienced before!”
I was the lucky recipient of the gift of a Corks & Forks class at Ralph’s by my dear friend G. Along another sweet friend, D, we attended the Chocolate Lover’s Class, conducted by Nicole Coady, owner of Fixx Chocolates and sommelier Ralph Herson. Oh, did we have fun!
