Happy Halloween!
Oct 31 2013 ·0Even Interior Designers love to celebrate Halloween! Of course our celebrations tend to the more sophisticated ~ take this amazing damask wallpaper from Studio Printworks. Yes, that is a skull at the center of the design ~ I love it!

Brunschwig & Fils at the Boston Design Center
Oct 29 2013 ·0A couple of weeks ago during The Look event at the Boston Design Center, Bruscshwig & Fils introduced two new lines to its fabric collection, Tresors de Jouy and Hommage.
David Toback, Design Director for B&F, was a most enthusiastic speaker and truly loves his fabric. And I fell in love with it too, it is lush, colorful and historic.

This week’s Posh Pinterest board, curated by Pamela Copeman Design Group behind-the-scenes Jill-of-all-trades Jen Bowles, is sure to spark your spooky (and not-so-spooky) side. Here are a few of my favorite pins from Jen’s Halloween Inspiration board…

An Artful Weekend
Oct 22 2013 ·0This weekend was outstanding! Everywhere I went I saw beautiful art and it wasn’t only on canvas!
Friday night I attended the Moonlight and Miracles Ball, the largest fundraiser of the year for the Cancer Care Unit at the South Shore Hospital.
Posh Pinterest Board of the Week: Designate A Dressing Room
Oct 21 2013 ·1This week’s Posh Pinterest board is curated by interior designer Sarah Sarna. I met Sarah as part of my Blogger 19 trip to NYC last fall. Sarah happens to live in New York City where she is the founder of the lifestyle and design blog Live The Life You Dream About and, her latest endeavor, co-founder of interior design firm Franklin Eighth.
Sarah is incredibly beautiful with a wonderful smile framed by bright red lipstick with a personality to match. Bright and beautiful describes Sarah to a tee! Her Pinterest board are also bright and beautiful, with this week’s featured board being Sarah’s Designate A Dressing Room.
Pamela’s Posh Picks: Dressing Tables
Oct 18 2013 ·0For me, Dressing Tables evoke images of Old Hollywood glamour. I can just picture a beautiful starlet sitting at her dressing table in front of a three sided mirror carefully powdering her nose. In today’s spaces, a Dressing Table is a perfect opportunity to add a hint of luxury to a Master Suite. Whether positioned in the bedroom, the bathroom or even the master closet, a contemporary dressing table offers a spot to gather oneself and prepare to face the day ~ and of course add a dash of glam!
Here are my Posh Picks for Dressing Tables…
Come to the Hingham Arts Walk!

A Visit to the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island, Part 2
Oct 16 2013 ·1Continuing on with our tour of the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island, I have more pictures of more beautiful spaces to share!
First stop, this “tented” atrium area. I love the connection with the outdoor green space here along with the zippy Jonathan Adler fabric on the pillows.
Ronald McDonald House of Long Island, Part 1
Oct 15 2013 ·0Last week I traveled to New York with fellow Boston-area interior designer and friend, Laurie Gorelick, to preview the newly renovated Ronald McDonald House of Long Island. It was the most spectacular makeover I could have imagined!
As you may know, the Ronald McDonald House is a haven for families, a home-like place to stay while their child is receiving medical treatment at a nearby hospital. There are many Ronald McDonald Houses all over the country including one here in Boston.
This particular Ronald McDonald House on Long Island was started in 1981 under the leadership Lyn Jurick, a powerhouse of a woman, who is still involved to this day. She had the help of many, including her designers William Diamond and Anthony Baratta. The house has served many families over the years and was in need of some tender loving care.
Posh Pinterest Board of the Week: Beautiful Brunschwig & Fils
Oct 14 2013 ·0Inspired by my visit to their showroom at the Boston Design Center last week and all their amazingly detailed and colorful fabrics, this week’s Posh Pinterest board is my very own Beautiful Brunschwig & Fils!
Here are a few of my favorite pins…
Pamela’s Posh Picks: Brunschwig & Fils Toiles
Oct 11 2013 ·0During my day at the Boston Design Center for The Look, I attended a presentation at the Brunschwig & Fils showroom (more on that soon). The featured speaker was David Toback, Director Design for B&F. He was such a dynamic speaker and so engaging. One of the things he spoke about was the history and meaning of Toile fabric. Toiles originated in France in the 1700s and the detailed scenes of everyday life were meant to inspire daydreams. After hearing Mr. Toback speak, I was dreaming of Toiles! Here are my Posh Picks for Toiles from Brunschwig & Fils…
The Look at Boston Design Center
Oct 09 2013 ·3The annual The Look event was held last week at the Boston Design Center. This is one of the most exciting days of the entire year at the BDC where new trends and products in interior design and color are highlighted in a day full of special events and speakers. The vibe is very similar to the Fashion Week that Boston just celebrated.
To start the day off right, I was invited to Club 342 for Bubbles and Breakfast. It was a true feast that made the 1-1/2 hour commute in traffic worth every minute! What better way to begin the day than with a mimosa~ and these yummy choices…
Posh Pinterest Board of the Week: domino
Oct 07 2013 ·1In honor of the re-launch of much beloved domino magazine as not only a print resource but also a new model that allows readers to shop directly from domino features, this week’s Posh Pinterest board(s) come from… domino! While domino’s Pinterest boards are still in the midst of being curated, I did find quite a few pins that I liked.

Moonlight & Miracles Gala
Oct 02 2013 ·0The October issue of South Shore Living Magazine highlights a group of artists of which I am proud to be a part of. Under the leadership of Jen Kelly, for many years we have donated paintings to the fundraising auction that is part of South Shore Hospital’s Moonlight and Miracles Gala. The funds raised benefit cancer care programs at the hospital, a wonderful and worthy cause.
